The MIT Credentials platform is operated by MIT organizers to issue and verify digital credentials for event participants (speakers, volunteers, etc.).
Organizer accounts
Organizer accounts are granted by community owners. By signing in, you agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose — managing events and issuing credentials for MIT activities.
Issued credentials
Credentials are issued in good faith by event organizers. They represent participation in a specific event and cannot be transferred or modified by the recipient.
A public credential page confirms that it matches the platform's stored record and displays the record's current status. That confirmation does not by itself verify the issuer's identity, assess the quality of the achievement, or mean that the platform endorses either one.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, issue fraudulent credentials, or attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you.
Limitation of liability
This platform is provided as-is. The organizers and contributors are not liable for any damages arising from its use.
